Named after Major Motoko Kusanagi from the anime “Ghost in the Shell” because she is the first thing I think about when I look at this design. Anime introduced my evolving young mind to Cyber-punk aesthetics through such amazing films as Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Appleseed. I was hooked immediately and couldn’t get enough. Kusanagi is the first design in what i”m sure will be a long line of Cyber-punk inspired products that I will use to pay homage to some of my favorite media of all time.
